SABRES RELEASE TRAINING CAMP ROSTER

BUFFALO, N.Y. (September 13, 2017) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the roster for the team’s training camp, which begins tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 14, when players are scheduled to report for testing and physicals.

Beginning Friday, Sept. 15, the team’s practice sessions at HarborCenter will be open to the public, with practices broken down into multiple sessions throughout each day. The Sabres will then open their preseason slate of games on Monday, Sept. 18, against the Carolina Hurricanes at KeyBank Center at 7 p.m.

The schedule for the first four days of training camp is below. All practice times are subject to change.

Thursday, Sept. 14

Players report for testing and physicals.

Closed to public. Media may attend for select player availability, beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the press conference room.

TRAINING CAMP SET TO OPEN ON SEPT. 14

BUFFALO, N.Y. (August 30, 2017) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team will open its main training camp on Thursday, Sept. 14, when veteran players are scheduled to report for testing and physicals. Beginning Friday, Sept. 15, the team’s practice sessions at HarborCenter will be open to the public, with practices broken down into multiple sessions throughout each day.

The Sabres will then open their preseason slate of games on Monday, Sept. 18, against the Carolina Hurricanes at KeyBank Center at 7 p.m.

2016 TRAINING CAMP OPENS SEPT. 22

BUFFALO, N.Y. (September 9, 2016) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team will open its main training camp on Thursday, Sept. 22, when veteran players are expected to report for testing and physicals. Beginning Friday, Sept. 23, the team’s practice sessions at HarborCenter will be open to the public, with practices being broken down into multiple sessions throughout each day.

The Sabres will then open their preseason slate of games on Monday, Sept. 26, against the Minnesota Wild at Pegula Ice Center in Penn State at 7 p.m. (ET).

SABRES RETURN FIVE PLAYERS TO JUNIOR CLUBS

BUFFALO, N.Y. (September 16, 2013) —  Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier announced today the team has returned the following five players to their respective junior clubs:

Forwards Justin Bailey (Kitchener, OHL), Nicholas Baptiste (Sudbury, OHL), Justin Kea (Saginaw, OHL) and Logan Nelson (Victoria, WHL), and defenseman Connor Boland (Peterborough, OHL).

This leaves the Sabres with 56 players still in training camp (33 forwards, 17 defensemen and six goaltenders).
