SABRES RECALL TENNYSON FROM ROCHESTER

BUFFALO, N.Y. (November 30, 2018) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has recalled defenseman Matt Tennyson from the Rochester Americans (AHL).

Tennyson (6’2”, 205 lbs., 4/23/1990) returns to the Sabres after beginning the season with the team but has yet to appear in any NHL games this season. The Minneapolis, Minnesota native has recorded one assist in seven games with the Americans this season.

Tennyson appeared in 15 games with the Sabres in his first season with the team in 2017-18. In his career, he has totaled 20 points (3+17) in 120 NHL games with Buffalo, the Carolina Hurricanes and the San Jose Sharks.

In a corresponding move, the Sabres have placed defenseman Marco Scandella on injured reserve.

SABRES ASSIGN TENNYSON TO ROCHESTER

BUFFALO, N.Y. (October 16, 2018) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has assigned defenseman Matt Tennyson to the Rochester Americans (AHL).

The team has also activated defenseman Zach Bogosian from injured reserve.

SABRES ASSIGN EIGHT TO ROCHESTER

BUFFALO, N.Y. (April 8, 2018) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has assigned eight players to the Rochester Americans (AHL): Forwards Nicholas Baptiste, Alexander Nylander and Kevin Porter; defensemen Brendan Guhle, Casey Nelson and Matt Tennyson; goaltenders Linus Ullmark and Adam Wilcox.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (April 2, 2018) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has recalled defenseman Matt Tennyson from the Rochester Americans (AHL).

Tennyson (6’2”, 205 lbs., 4/23/1990) re-joins the Sabres after playing in 14 games with the team at the beginning of the season. Signed by Buffalo as a free agent in July 2017, Tennyson has appeared in 119 career NHL games, totaling 20 points (3+17) and 32 penalty minutes.
