SABRES RECALL BURGDOERFER
BUFFALO, N.Y. (December 5, 2016) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has recalled defenseman Erik Burgdoerfer from the Rochester Americans (AHL).
Burgdoerfer (6’1”, 207 lbs., 12/11/1988) joins the Sabres for the first time after signing as an unrestricted free agent on July 21, 2016. In 22 games for the Amerks this season, Burgdoerfer has seven assists and 24 penalty minutes. The Abington, Pennsylvania native has posted 35 points (7+28) and 145 penalty minutes in 157 career AHL games.
SABRES SEND SIX PLAYERS TO ROCHESTER
BUFFALO, N.Y. (October 6, 2016) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has released six players from its training camp roster.

The following six players have been loaned to the Rochester Americans (AHL): Forwards Justin Bailey, Jean Dupuy and Cole Schneider; defensemen Brady Austin and Erik Burgdoerfer; goaltender Linus Ullmark.
The Sabres now have 31 players (18 forwards, 11 defensemen and two goaltenders) on their training camp roster.

SABRES SIGN DEFENSEMAN BURGDOERFER
BUFFALO, N.Y. (July 21, 2016) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has signed defenseman Erik Burgdoerfer to a one-year, two-way contract.
Burgdoerfer (6’2”, 210 lbs., 12/11/1988) spent all of last season with the Hershey Bears (AHL), where he recorded 20 points (6+14) and 59 penalty minutes in 74 games. He also added four points (0+4) and 18 penalty minutes in 21 playoff games for the Bears.
In 135 career AHL games, the East Setauket, New York native has 28 points (7+21) and 121 penalty minutes. Burgdoerfer has also added 75 points (22+53) and 290 penalty minutes in 272 career ECHL contests.
