SABRES RECALL AUSTIN

BUFFALO, N.Y. (March 25, 2017) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has recalled defenseman Brady Austin from the Rochester Americans (AHL).

Austin (6’4”, 230 lbs., 6/16/1993) joins the team for the second time this week after making his NHL debut and recording four shots on goal in his first two games with the Sabres on March 20 and 21. The Bobcaygeon, Ontario native has recorded nine points (2+7) and 51 penalty minutes in 62 games for the Amerks this season.

SABRES ASSIGN THREE TO ROCHESTER

BUFFALO, N.Y. (March 22, 2017) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has assigned forward Justin Bailey and defensemen Brady Austin and Casey Nelson to the Rochester Americans (AHL).

BUFFALO, N.Y. (March 20, 2017) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has recalled defensemen Casey Nelson and Brady Austin from the Rochester Americans (AHL).

Nelson (6’1”, 190 lbs., 7/18/1992), who has posted 13 points (4+9) in 45 AHL games in 2016-17, returns to the Sabres for his third stint of the season. Since signing with the Sabres in March 2016, the Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin native has tallied four assists in 16 career NHL games.

Buffalo’s seventh-round pick in the 2012 NHL Draft, Austin (6’4”, 230 lbs., 6/16/1993) will join the team for his first career NHL recall after recording nine points (2+7) and 36 penalty minutes in 61 games for the Amerks this season.

SABRES SEND SIX PLAYERS TO ROCHESTER

BUFFALO, N.Y. (October 6, 2016) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has released six players from its training camp roster.

The following six players have been loaned to the Rochester Americans (AHL): Forwards Justin Bailey, Jean Dupuy and Cole Schneider; defensemen Brady Austin and Erik Burgdoerfer; goaltender Linus Ullmark.

The Sabres now have 31 players (18 forwards, 11 defensemen and two goaltenders) on their training camp roster.

SABRES RECALL FIVE FROM ROCHESTER

Estephan returned to Lethbridge

BUFFALO, N.Y. (October 4, 2016) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has recalled forwards Justin Bailey, Daniel Catenacci, Jean Dupuy and Cole Schneider, and defenseman Brady Austin from the Rochester Americans (AHL).

The team has also returned Giorgio Estephan to the Lethbridge Hurricanes (WHL).

The Sabres now have 37 players (21 forwards, 13 defensemen and three goaltenders) on their training camp roster.
