Media Information

Requests for information should be directed to the Sabres’ Media Relations Department, Buffalo Sabres, KeyBank Center, One Seymour H. Knox, III Plaza, Buffalo, NY 14203. The main office phone number is (716) 855-4100.

Credentials

Season credentials are available only to those media members who cover the team on a regular basis. Those who need media credentials for an individual game should contact the Sabres’ Media relations department (credentialhelp@sabres.com) by 5 p.m. the day before a game, and by 5 p.m. on Friday before a Sunday game. All requests for individual game seating should be submitted by the publication editor using a professional email account. Furthermore, freelance photographers will be admitted on an assignment-only basis, which must come from the photo editor. Press box seats are filled on a space-available basis.

*All requests for pre-game live shots should be coordinated through Chrisanne Bellas at (716) 855-4476 to assure location and transmission.

Game-Day Procedures

The credential table will be open two and a half hours prior to the opening faceoff and will close 15 minutes after puck drop.

Per NHL/NHLPA protocols, all media/broadcast personnel in Club spaces that may be occupied by players are required to be: (i) Fully Vaccinated; and (ii) masked at all times while in such areas.

Please check your temperature before leaving for the arena. If your temperature is at or above 100.4°F, do not come to the arena.

Before entering KeyBank Center, you will be required to complete the questionnaire at media.sabres.com. This questionnaire must be completed on each day that you enter the arena and can be completed from a computer or mobile device.

You may enter KeyBank Center via the security entrance off of Illinois St. Upon arrival to the game, please be prepared to show proof of vaccination at the credential table via physical vaccination card (photo will not be accepted), NYS Excelsior Pass, CLEAR digital vaccine card or government digital vaccine proof from outside NYS.

Media availabilities will take place in person with media members and players, coaches, and/or hockey operations personnel maintaining six feet of distance from each other. Following the conclusion of the game, Head coach Don Granato and select players will be made available in a press conference-style format. Due to space limitations, the Sabres locker room will not be open to media. Media members should not pass through hockey hallway without a member of the Sabres PR staff.

When the Sabres are on the road, Head coach Don Granato and select players will be made available both in person and on Zoom.

After games, media and scouts are welcome to leave KeyBank Center through the media entrance off of Illinois St.

Practice Sessions/Game-Day Skates

The media entrance will be open 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of practice.

Photographers may shoot from those sections, along the glass near the Zamboni entrance, or from shooting locations 6*, 7 or 8 (located at ice level in between sections 118/119, 120/121 and 122/123*). *Through glass

When sitting in the arena bowl, please spread out and leave at least three seats between yourself and the closest person. Media members who choose to go to the press box to work may use the press box elevator, which can be accessed near the security entrance on the event level. Media members should not pass through hockey hallway without a member of the Sabres PR staff.

Sabres PR will do their best to accommodate one-on-one requests. Any one-on-one requests should be made to a member of the Sabres PR staff at least 24 hours in advance.

After practice, media and photographers are welcome to leave KeyBank Center through the media entrance off of Illinois St.
