The Buffalo Sabres have recalled defenseman Lawrence Pilut from the Rochester Americans (AHL).
Highlights:
- Joins the Sabres for his third recall of the season after averaging 16:39 of ice time in six games during his last stint with the team.
- Scored a goal in his only game since re-joining the Americans for the Sabres’ bye week. He now leads all Amerks defensemen in points per game (.73) and is tied for fourth among all Rochester skaters with 22 points this season.
- Selected to play in the AHL All-Star Classic in both of his first two AHL seasons (didn’t participate in 2019 due to recall to Buffalo).
