BUFFALO, N.Y. (March 23, 2015) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has recalled forward Tim Schaller from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Schaller (6’2”, 206 lbs., 11/16/90) joins the team for his fourth recall of the 2014-15 season after making his NHL debut on Nov. 29 in Montreal. He played an increased role during his last recall, averaging 13:34 of ice time per game and recording his first NHL assist on March 16 vs. Washington. He now has two points (1+1) in 13 NHL games.
Originally signed by the Sabres as a free agent on April 2, 2013, the Merrimack, N.H. native ranks second on the Americans with 15 goals and 40 points (15+25) in 58 AHL games.
