BUFFALO, N.Y. (February 18, 2015) – The Buffalo Sabres today announced they will be holding an online auction of the first set of the team’s game-worn home and away jerseys from the 2014-15 season.
The auction will begin today at 5 p.m. and run until Sunday, March 1 at 9 p.m. Fans can access the auction and place a bid by logging onto the auction section of NHL.com or by clicking here. All jerseys will come with a certificate of authenticity, and all proceeds will benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.
The Buffalo Sabres Foundation is a New York State not for profit corporation that is committed to stimulating, supporting and encouraging organizations that serve Western New York which are committed to youth hockey initiatives; the health, wellness and education of underprivileged/disadvantaged youth and military personnel; and physically and mentally challenged athletes, by providing financial generosity and other platforms with their endeavors.
Through such support these organizations will realize their highest potential, thereby allowing their members to gain the confidence and integrity necessary to succeed in life.
