MIKE WEBER AND MATT MOULSON TEAM UP TO PROVIDE TICKETS TO MILITARY PERSONNEL

BUFFALO, N.Y. (October 1, 2014) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced that defenseman Mike Weber will donate Sabres tickets to soldiers this season as part of the “Tickets for Troops” program, and Matt Moulson will work with the Wounded Warrior Project to provide a pair of seats to every game.

Weber will give a pair of tickets to a different military member from Western New York, starting with the Oct. 9 home opener against Columbus, and continuing for each of Buffalo’s 40 remaining regular season home games this season. The seats are located in Sec 100, Row 18 and each soldier receives a Sabres jersey at the game.

In addition, Moulson will provide a pair of 100-level tickets each game to a member of the Wounded Warrior Project, which assists troops with service-related injuries. The selected soldier will also receive a jersey in addition to tickets to the game.

The Wounded Warrior Project’s mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors with a vision to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of service members in our nation’s history.
