SABRES SIGN ULLMARK TO ENTRY-LEVEL CONTRACT

BUFFALO, N.Y. (May 27, 2014) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced that the team has signed goaltender Linus Ullmark to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Ullmark (6’3″, 220 lbs., 7/31/93), the Sabres’ sixth-round (163rd overall) selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, has been playing for the Swedish MODO hockey club at both the junior and elite levels.

During the 2013-14 season, the Lugnvik, Sweden native played 35 games for MODO in the Swedish Hockey League, registering a 2.08 goals-against average and .931 save percentage and was awarded the Honken Trophy as the Swedish Goaltender of the Year.
