Hodgson placed on injured reserve
BUFFALO, N.Y. (January 1, 2014) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team today recalled defenseman Brayden McNabb and forward Johan Larsson from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League (AHL). The team also announced that forward Cody Hodgson has been placed on injured reserve.
McNabb (1/21/91, 6’4”, 207 lbs) re-joins the Sabres after being assigned to Rochester on Dec. 17. He leads all Amerks defensemen with 15 points (3+12) in 19 AHL games this season. McNabb, who has played in five games with the Sabres in 2013-14, has recorded eight points (1+7) in 30 career NHL games. The Sabres drafted the Davidson, Saskatchewan native in the third round (66th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
