BUFFALO, N.Y. (October 21, 2013) — Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier has announced that defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen has been recalled from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.
Ristolainen (10/27/94, 6’4″, 219 lbs.) re-joins the Sabres after being assigned to the Amerks on Oct. 19. The Turku, Finland native was drafted eighth overall by the Sabres in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft and has played in eight games for Buffalo this season.
