SABRES RECALL DEFENSEMAN ADAM PARDY

BUFFALO, N.Y. (February 25, 2013) — Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier today announced that defenseman Adam Pardy has been recalled from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Pardy (3/29/84, 6’4″, 226 lbs.) will join the Sabres for the second time this season after tallying an assist in his Sabres debut on Feb. 5 at Ottawa. Pardy has five points (1+4) and a plus-1 rating in 11 AHL games with the Americans.

The Bonavista, Newfoundland native was acquired from the Dallas Stars with forward Steve Ott on July 2. In four previous NHL seasons, Pardy recorded 29 points (4+25) and 157 penalty minutes in 183 games with the Calgary Flames and Dallas Stars.
